Im missing something here after reading all the press and seeing P2P platforms keeping their sites upto date
The black box mini bonds With no definitions of responsibility or into what knows....i agree with FCA .. get them OUT and really should be closed down.
But there are other good platforms with very specific detailed products but the FCA Seems to driving retail investors to the most risky end of the chain ..
example Of possible investments for property
platform offers first charge loans at 8% for investment -Restricted Investment- not available to retail investors
same platform offers Second charge loans at 13% For investment - Restricted investment - not avsilable to retail investors
same platform offers Equity charge loans at 24% For Investment - OPEN TO EVERYONE
seeing the equity will be paid out LAST if there is anything left, seeing that in Default equity will be ZERO
So FCA are driving retail investors into the loins den of “ High % of loosing everything”
im just missing something.. and do not feel 1% of extra protection at all by this new FCA guidance ...
