Investandfund have introduced a mandate system onto the platform - its a few months ago and been trying it out
hence if you new or just interested in Investandfund
my position with Investandfund - im a happy investor with investandfund over the last 2 years.
New mandate system
Investandfund have introduced a MANDATE system ( some would call it autolend system) . .. its like a standing order based on a loan campaign. So once you reach your mandate max in loan, no matter how many tranches are issued in that loan, you will only put the mandate value into that loan.
my mandate is set at £500 ( example figure).. set and leave
my account has spare cash in it waiting to invest ...( example)
When a new loan launches .. your mandate runs 1 hour before its on the open market and i get my £500.. happy
IF on the next day tranche 2 launches from the SAME LOAN ... (my mandate is still set at £500 .. ) BUT it knows i have already invested my max amount to this loan already...so it allocates ZERO funds of this new tranche...- happy and not over exposed to repeat tranches.
it does not keep adding funds to every tranche .. it only allocates up to your Mandate Max TO EACH LOAN
no switching off and on for every Tranche.. no over funding to one loan
if i have no spare cash in my account at tranche 1... then i get nothing of course.. but then i add cash later in the week... tranche 3 launches down the road sometime and i get my 500.
IF you do not like the loan on offer - yes you have to change your mandate
IF the same Borrower issues a new loan under a separate SPV and you not wish to over commit to one developer.. - yes you have to change your mandate
