In my account with Zopa I am told that I should get a return of 4.9% in plus and 4.7% in classic a weighted average of 4.86%, plus my early adopter bonus of 0.5%.
For the last six month period I have made no withdrawals or deposits, I have been investing in plus for over two years and am diversified in over 3000 loans, so unlikely to be far from the average experience. Zopa have said returns can be distorted over the first 9-18 months because defaults tend to be heaviest in that part of a loan's life cycle, but I should be past that.
However my return for the first six months is 1.53% (an annualised rate of c.3.1%) a full 40% below the advertised rate, anyone have similar experience?
