Hello all, I've been a long time lurker on the indy forum but never felt I had much to add so had never signed up. I tried to sign up to them last week but I?m stuck waiting for approval to join, no such problems here though?.
I'd first like to say a huge thanks to everyone on here for sharing your knowledge and especially regarding the Collateral situation. I can't imagine dealing with this without knowing that others are having similar worries and concerns.
Regards Collateral, I knew exactly how much I had on the platform and it tallies with the BDO figures. I have records of most of my individual loan details but I did a flurry of buying and selling just before the platform went down and I tend to delete the ?not important? emails so my records are not 100% up to date.
I had resigned myself to the fact that I couldn't prove my holdings until last week.
So if you are reading this and thought you had lost your emails there is a very slim chance you might be as stupid as me and actually do have them, but I can't imagine anyone has actually been that stupid!
I use a separate email address for Collateral but I forward all my mail to my main address, I had totally forgotten this and was only reminded to check all my email passwords when I received Huddle Capitals dodgy mail-out! Of course when I checked my actual email account that I was using for Collateral there were all the emails I had ever received from Collateral unopened and never touched. It really was staggeringly obvious but there you go, I've found them now. I then downloaded the whole account to my laptops local email program so I now have a back up.
