I just wish I'd thought to put a few Cup-a-Soups in a shoe box and flog them for £300.
How are you preparing for Brexit?

I can't for the life of me figure out why people need water filters?? Do they think that because we are leaving Europe we are moving the whole island........Maybe to the middle of the Sahara desert??
I will be ok, I have plenty of water purification tablets left from my ration packs. Just need to store up enough urine to keep 3 adults going for 6 months now until the ports are open again!!
I'm an engineer by trade, so don't normally have money. If you lose any money because you listened to something I have said, more fool you!!

Far from it, my point is that a lack of attention to detail can be a symptom of a lack of professionalism and slack management within a firm which could have serious and expensive consequences. Having said that there are plenty of firms with slick advertising and web sites without spelling errors that are all style and no substance aka fur coat and no knickers that are equally incompetent and unprofessional. For examples of the above, think certain P2P platforms that fail to register charges, establish ownership, monitor projects and so on. Caveat Emptor. And, if "written on the side of a bus" is an allusion to the referendum Leave campaign, that pales into insignificance against Project Fear’s continued propaganda campaign, the sheer volume of which would make even Joseph Goebbels envious.

All joking aside, I haven't gone mad, but I have bought more foodstuffs than normal into a small stockpile, particularly my favourite stuff.
I honestly don't see any problems food supply wise, but I was in The Cubs & The Boy Scouts and habits ingrained when you're very young are hard to break - "Be Prepared"!

I'm stockpiling Alcohol
Nothing to do with fears of Brexit, but I'm predicting that the closer we get to 29 March 2019 the onslaught of Brexit related news will be so unbearable that I will need the Alcohol to get me through it I think everyone is being beaten into submission - no one cares anymore, they just want the subject to change

I agree with DI above. I believe that the politicians have made such a hash of this that I really couldn't care less what happens now.
I am still amazed at how many people on the BBC pages are still having snipes at each side on the comments section. I am also particularly amazed that after reading the BBC pages that they can claim to be neutral in their reporting!! I think the BBC stands for Brexit Bashing Corp!!

I am making no preparations because the May plan, now entering the final phases, is not to leave but just to stand in the corridor outside for a couple of years before friction-less re-entry sometime after 2021.
As TM the PM could have said: "Brexit means Brino" "Nothing will have changed" I suspect that the only difference of substance will be that the EU will take away the MHT rebate as punishment for temporarily leaving the room. Leavers will feel betrayed and remainers will feel that the UK has just wasted 3-5 years, so everyone will have good reason to moan, should be worth waiting for.
