Today, 20/09/2018, MT issued a very informative newsletter detailing current loan results and future prospects.
One important aspect is this:
It has taken longer than expected to build up our sales pipeline following our change in direction earlier this year away from property development loans. However, we have plans in place now to resume a good flow of new loans to the platform and we will be offering lenders a greater variety of loans to support
This looks new to me as I did not read anything talking about an MT move away from the property development market earlier.
But if MT moves away from development loans, the question is: where is it going towards?
I simply don't see a sector with the volumes needed outside the property market.
