Just got the e-mail

It's been so long since I could login to the Collateral portal, answering many of these questions will be impossible.

Humph - Title changed and post removed, but that looks like a standard e-mail footer. Methinks the FCA don't like to be criticised Anyhoo - the e-mail title is a tad strange. Need to verify before I touch this Edit - Hey! Where did you go!

It found its way to the correct email address but the email header has no recipient email address on it, I'm not too savvy with all this IT business so that t looked suspect to me

From a technical perspective email delivery looks genuine - passes SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
FCA front desk say they can't verify it/can't see it on the system. They are enquiring further. I'll keep you all updated.

If it's phishing it's very clever, would like to know who they are and why they are asking me for information they should already have, seem to have attached the letter twice.

We know that Huddle somehow got our details - so it's not out of the question that other parties may have also got these details
I await @ripeoldcheese response with interest...

The letter does say they got the contact info from BDO so if it's genuine we know the source.
I too await the word from the cheese.

I have just sent the following email to the Administrators
"Shane You may be aware that some, possibly all, Collateral investors have just received an email purportedly from the FCA. Do you know anything about this? If so did you supply them with the email addresses? Or do they have their own list. Kind regards Peter"

Nothing to do with COL, FCA, Me and no info online that I can see Probably genuine, but still very wired

We did supply the investor spreadsheet to the FCA after receiving a formal request – under FSMA, the regulator has certain investigative powers which we are obliged to comply with. .................................................................... This appears to be the FCA unfertaking their own investigation separate from the Administration. As it appears ro have been sent to over one thousand people keeping it confidential would seem a little optimistic on their part but I would not recommend public discussion on any responses/further interaction with the Authority.

Even if this thread is removed it may be worth leaving some kind of message here to confirm that the email is genuine - I was a little unsure of it and came here to see if I could find more information.
