Certainly a change from callow inexperienced youth to grey haired experience, by their bios the other three range in age from about 50 plus to about 70. One would have to seriously question why any of them would need to work for a h'penny outfit like Lendy with their qualifications at their age, surely they would have made their pile and be dipping their toes in the Carribean not rolling their trouser legs up to walk in the Solent?

Following on from the conversation on the Indie
David Gammond has just told me he left at the at the end of January "to pursue other business interests" Gary Anderson LinkedIn shows he has left and Paul Thompson, who used to have a LinkedIn page, has deleted his LinkedIn account (could mean he is still at LY of course) Needless to say, this could all mean anything, so no need to jump to conclusions - I would rather see an update from LY (nothing invested, so I will leave it to others to nudge)

Mr Gammond may have only lasted around 8 weeks but I'll never forget his outstanding contribution to Lendy's new "enhanced communications" in the form of the legendary "Recoveries Webinar"
Quite bizarre that the new board members who were announced with such fanfare have now left so quickly...

They were clearly unable to meet the high performance bar set by the man at the top and, given the lack of rabbits being pulled from the array of hats available, were summarily dismissed within their probationary period on these grounds.

But why should Mssrs Brooke and Gordon care? They have made their pile from it, the lenders are left to carry the loss.

I do not think that any self respecting executive worth his salt would put themselves in the firing line of the mess that LB has made of this. I agree with DI above, if they had been engaged earlier they may have been able to accomplish what they were brought in to do.
As it is, the task would be like trying to put out a house fire with a water pistol. As hard as you try, you probably aren't going to make much of an impact. Why put your own professional reputation on the line for a man who clearly does not care about his own or his impact on the investors?

Remuneration and pension contributions in the last audited accounts (2017) are £333,000, Teal Capital Limited, a company 100% owned by the founders, owed the company £819,000, at 31 December 2017, declared remuneration and dividends for earlier years is somewhat modest although I seem to recall somewhere buried in previous year's accounts either £600,000 or £1million transferred to a "remuneration trust" that they were the beneficiaries. Also on 6 September 2018 Liam John Brooke was granted a debenture, reputedly for £1million cash advance, it is difficult to see how he generated such funds unless from Lendy. The information is all in the public domain but frankly I have evry little interest in Lendy, apart from as a bemused bystander in how they could have got other people to entrust them with £400milion, that if you are that interested you can look it up yourself.
