No purchases or sales on the SM from 7.00am (at least) to 5.30 pm (so far). Is it completely broke? Just the one capital repayment for #503 Bishops Place
That (not so) damned secondary market

My God, it really has jammed up this time. No movement yesterday until 3 minutes before midnight, and then only a little, and just two transactions since then - in nearly 9 hours. The silence from Chris has been deafening. This problem is of long-standing and is getting worse.

I had set a buy on the MLA for #709 thursday night and it didnt move all day friday, i thought darn nobody is going to be kicking it over the weekend - then 1:30am this morning the mouse started running in the wheel I think and it went through.

I have noticed that the SM algorithms prevent me buying loan parts from another of my accounts which is trying to sell them. Even an account in my wife's name (an IFISA) cannot buy the parts I want to sell to her from my standard account. We have four accounts altogether and four weeks after the opening of the IFISA season we still cannot get fully invested despite the availability in our MLA accounts. It seems that only sales to third parties can be purchased (IF offered for sale) by the IFISA accounts. Anybody care to raise this issue with Chris on the other forum?

I have been selling from a non ISA MLA account and buying with an ISA MLA account and looking at the timings and amounts involved I am definitely buying my own parts. (Not all of them; a share of them.) It took me less than two months to fully invest last year's ISA, and I'm a picky lender. I'm well on the way with this year's.

I see @chris (on the P2PIF) has reported the SM is just slow, not stopped. Not my experience. No purchases or sales in over 24 hours and very little before then, but loads of availability and money to purchase. Puddleduck reported no purchases in 4 days. Effectively, at the moment, there is no SM. All I can say to @lynnanthony (above) is that he/she is very lucky. The changes that @chris promises cannot come soon enough for me.

My MLA has had 1x purchase today so some transactions are happening.

Not just the SM that's slow today, Barclays is timing out so AC can't retrieve the deposit info.
#Treacle.

Multiple GBBA purchases and sales this morning. No MLA trades though. It seems to be alive, just doing a slow job, which seems almost appropriate for a sunny bank holiday!
06-05-2018, 09:25 AM
No transactions for me for a couple of days.
Reports of incorrect balances on the other forum! Think you need to cancel the bank holiday Chris, or did someone forget to feed the hamsters?!!!

Yes, my balance has dropped by 2k on one of my accounts between 3rd and 4th of this month (IFISA MLIA), and 2.3k on another account (Standard GBBA1)
06-05-2018, 02:26 PM
Ive got an error in the balance statement for the MLIA from the 2nd when the balance increased incorrectly and a subsequent reduction in the error on the 5th but its still showing too much. The dashboard is down by the same amount as the reduction on the 5th but didnt get the inital bounce. IFISA unaffected so I suspect the errors relate to reporting of specific loans which I dont have in my IFISA (doesnt narrow it down much). Might be related to the two forthcoming repayments #242/487 though the numbers dont quite add up. Discrepancy between dashboard MLIA total & balance statment has occurred previously & was supposed to have ben fixed.
Ive had two investments today #221 (SM) & #674 (initial drawdown)

Quite a notable GBBA discrepancy for me. Grrr.
06-05-2018, 03:22 PM
#495 seem to be the issue -£2m loan value. Looks like somebody maybe missentered the recent tranche drawdown? @chris

Chris has replied on the Indy forum to say that there is a problem, and things are running slowly, but AC will sort it. Though might not be sorted till Tuesday due to bank holiday.
Also, they should have a proper fix to stop this happening that's due for release in a couple of weeks.

I know this is a familiar lament but for the record the SM is barely breathing, after showing distinct signs of life yesterday. My IFISA still has not been able to purchase loans with availability and also which I am selling from another account. Still only 85 per cent invested in the MLA after 41 days ...
17-05-2018, 08:27 AM
It's not just the SM which has seized up now. Every time I try to make a transfer between accounts, I get the message "Oops, the server must be extremely busy ..." How long before the super-duper extra processing power arrives?
14-07-2018, 07:06 AM
I must change the title of this thread. There has been a quantum leap in the number of transactions this week, on my accounts at least. Perhaps the extra processing power and new software has finally arrived.
14-07-2018, 09:28 AM
My GBBA1 has sold down by about £100 this past week, it may not sound a lot but in terms of the prior selling pace its probably more than it sold down in the previous month, i'm guessing its as much to do with new funds heading onto the platform due to the summer bonus as it is anything else.
30-07-2018, 09:19 AM
The SM has fallen back to its default mode of constipation, while the site itself appears overloaded - have not been able to generate a tax report at all despite dozens of attempts over the weekend. Where is the boost in processing power we were promised, @chris ? Is it still on the way?
